End The Fed
Remember, Remember, the 5th of November - and to "End The Fed". The story of the "Gunpowder Plot" and Guy Fawkes is endlessly interesting, serving as an inspiration for countless protest movements. I was inspired to create this artwork after seeing a striking post on Twitter/X: "Imagine working 9-5 for 50 years, only for The Fed to print 40% of the total money supply, inflating away 20 years of your hard-earned savings." The phrase "End The Fed" often cited in similar contexts, likely originates from Ron Paul's 2009 book by the same name, which critiques central banking and advocates for financial reform.
"Beneath this mask, there is more than flesh. Beneath this mask, there is an idea, Mr. Creedy, and ideas are bulletproof." - V
Bitcoin is this idea that will bring us freedom.
Many people argue that we should have more respect for institutions, but I believe this is wrong. Instead, we should prioritize respect for one another over loyalty to any institution.
Institutions exist only to serve the people, not the other way around. If an institution fails to benefit us, society has both the right and the responsibility to reform or abolish it.
Our allegiance should always be to the well-being of individuals, not to preserving structures that no longer serve their purpose.

Occupy
Wall Street
The Gunpowder Plot of 1605 was a failed assassination attempt against King James I and the members of both houses of Parliament, including the House of Lords. Orchestrated by a group of English Catholics, the plot aimed to blow up the Palace of Westminster during the State Opening of Parliament.
The Guy Fawkes mask was created by illustrator David Lloyd for the 1982–1989 graphic novel 'V for Vendetta'.
The mask became a symbol of the Occupy Wall Street protests in 2011 and is therefore of great importance for the origins of the Bitcoin universe.

01
Pencil sketch
As with all my artworks, "End the Fed" began with a delicate pencil sketch. I aim to keep these initial rough outlines as light as possible to preserve the integrity of the paper.
02
Drawing process
Whenever possible, I begin working on an artwork from the upper left corner to reduce the risk of smearing, particularly with A1-sized pieces. For larger artworks where this isn't feasible, I protect completed sections with a sheet of paper or wear gloves. This is crucial because the ink from ballpoint pens can react with the natural oils and sweat from the hands, potentially causing discoloration and altering the depth of the black tones.

03
Frist marks on paper
The first strokes are crucial, as they largely shape how the final artwork will turn out. With ballpoint pen drawings, the real challenge lies in capturing that transition from sketch to the first marks on paper perfectly.
04
Fine grain texture
I enjoy experimenting with various types of paper, and for this piece, I chose a new, lighter watercolor paper. Its fine grain texture is perfect for achieving delicate, high-contrast transitions, especially when working with ballpoint pens.

05
The Guy Fawkes Mask
I then moved on to the mask. Thanks to the quality of the paper, I was able to create smooth, soft gradients that enhanced the realistic, universal appearance.
06
Laser eyes until $1,000,000
Every Bitcoiner knows the mantra: laser eyes until Bitcoin hits $100,000. But once we reach that milestone, it’ll be time to refocus those laser eyes on the next target—$1,000,000.

07
Flowing Strokes
I completed the piece in my signature wavy style, using dynamic, flowing strokes. Capturing movement in my drawing/painting is something I truly love.
08
The background
In the background is a fictitious Federal Reserve building, representative of all other central banks that stand in the way of Bitcoin.

The final Image
I completed the piece in my signature wavy style, using dynamic, flowing strokes. Capturing movement in my drawing/painting is something I truly love.

You can't kill the idea, Bitcoin is indestructible.
Bitcoin stands as a form of peaceful resistance. History has shown that those who attempt to fight it will either be defeated or inadvertently strengthen it. This was exemplified in 2017 when powerful industry players, including major companies like Coinbase and large mining firms, tried to alter Bitcoin’s core protocol in a way that would have undermined users' interests—specifically through increasing block size. However, in a powerful demonstration of decentralized unity, the global Bitcoin community resisted this attempted takeover, and Bitcoin emerged not just unscathed, but stronger.
Another assault that ultimately fortified Bitcoin was China's mining ban. Despite initial concerns, today's hashrate reflects barely a trace of the drop caused by the ban. It was nothing more than a minor setback in Bitcoin’s steady march toward ever-increasing network security and resilience.
Likewise, the relentless regulatory and rhetorical attacks from institutions like the European Central Bank (ECB) have only served to bolster Bitcoin’s long-term robustness. These challenges, instead of weakening the network, contribute to its resilience.
Some have come to realize this reality and are now operating under the old adage: "If you can't beat them, join them." For instance, asset management giant BlackRock has shifted its stance, now fully embracing Bitcoin and acquiring significant holdings for its clients, illustrating that even the most powerful financial institutions are beginning to recognize Bitcoin as a strategic ally rather than a threat.
